Richard R. Felski

Richard R. Felski, age 52, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021 at Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids.

A Celebration of Life to remember Richard is scheduled from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. 

He was born on June 4, 1969 in Jacksonville, Florida to Richard and Rita (Divelbis) Felski.  He married Shannon (Dauner) Felski on May 1, 2004 in Stevens Point.  Richard graduated from the Wisconsin Academy in 1988 and was an over-the-road truck driver during his work career. 

He loved hunting deer, fishing for bass and catfish, bow hunting, was a member of the National Rifle Association and attending Whitetails Unlimited banquets.

Richard was often seen wearing his cowboy boots and hat.  His favorite color was chrome.

He is survived by his wife; children: Tyler (Delia) Felski, Andrew Felski, Kylee Felski, Emma Felski, and RJ Felski; grandchild Syrus; his father Richard Felski; sister Dawn Beaudion; brother Chad Felski; and step-sisters: Sue Reindel and Patricia (Steve) Hagen; mother and father-in-law Mike and Bonnie Dauner; aunt: Paula (Mike) Berkhahn; cousin: Mike (Cindy) Berg; his dog Oakley; and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. 

Richard is preceded in death by his mother; sister Janet; grandmother Verona (John) Gonnerman; Bruin Divelbis; Elvira Felski; cousin Bryan Berg; and step-mother Sandy.
