Obituary
Mary E. Hoffman, age 71, passed away on Saturday November 26, 2022, at Aspirus Hospital-Wausau. She was born December 2, 1950, in Bakersfield, California. the daughter of Jim and Lois (Barnum) Conley. Mary spent most of her life in Bakersfield, California until moving to Wisconsin to be with her son and his family. While in Bakersfield she worked at an Almond Factory and the retired from Ralph’s Grocery Store in San Diego. Christmas was her favorite time of year, getting together with family and friends. She was involved with many SPCA and Veterans’ organizations. She also enjoyed horseback riding, movies and going out to eat. Mary will be deeply missed by her family and friends including her son, Chance (Theresa) Hoffman of Nekoosa; her former husband, Michael Hoffman; her best friend, Jeannie Gieger; her grandchildren, Kristin Hoffman, Danaca (Lenor) Hernandez, Chelsea Robinson and Zachary Hyde; Her great grandchildren, Zoey and Christian Osborne, Colter and Mason Hossfeld and Aurora and Leo Hernandez. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Dean McDermott; sisters, Sandra Conley, Cheryl Story, Vivian Story and Jimmie Conley.
A Celebration of life will be held at a later date in Bakersfield, California.
